Management Team

Paul Greenwood (President, CEO)

Mr. Greenwood, a graduate of Queen's University, began his career in marketing with Samsonite Canada and established the newly created position of Product Manager for all product lines. He played a key role in the transition from a domestic manufacturer of travel products to being part of a global initiative to consolidate all soft goods manufacturing in the Far East. He was appointed National Sales Manager to implement the change in strategy and worked with the major retailers in Canada to roll out the new products.

Later Paul was made President & General Manager of Parker Pen Canada. He successfully leveraged the Company's One Hundredth Anniversary in 1988 to increase distribution and market share in fine writing instruments with retailers across the country in the following years. This included the presentation of a limited edition fine writing set to each of the G7 world leaders who attended the conference in Toronto Canada, which coincided with the Company's anniversary celebrations.

In 1992, he joined Fuji Photo Film Canada and progressed up through the organization to become the senior Canadian Vice President and General Manager. He lead a team of professionals to double the business in ten years to over $380 million, covering three operating divisions and initiated new policies and procedures to manage the growth. He worked closely with Fuji Film in Japan and the United States on the development and implementation of North American customer initiatives.

In 2006, he joined Dr. Hallett as a co-founder of Natural Energy Systems Inc and brings his extensive experience in general management, finance, marketing & sales to the Natural Energy Systems senior executive team. Dr. Hallet, who is also Chairman of WebTrain, invited Paul Greenwood to apply his considerable talent to leading the senior management team of WebTrain as President and CEO.

Trevor Tasker (Vice President, General Manager)

Born in South Africa, Mr. Tasker has maintained his entrepreneurial spirit throughout his working life. He has owned and worked in business in very different markets such as finance, entertainment and internet marketing. His success in all fields can be attributed largely to his highly entrepreneurial nature.

He began his corporate career in the insurance business learning his craft with the sale of intangible products, in his native South Africa, where he worked for two of the top insurance companies and eventually founded his own Brokerage. He distinguished himself in the industry by twice achieving the coveted International Million Dollar Roundtable award in recognition of outstanding sales for in top 1% of worldwide sales people.

In 1994 he moved his family to Canada where he headed up the Canadian sales group of international LED display manufacturer, Trans-Lux Canada Ltd, as National Sales Manager and then later as Assistant Vice President. Mr. Tasker was responsible for increasing sales from 1 Million Dollars per year to 5 Million Dollars per year in five years.

Mr. Tasker worked as Vice President for Spectra Securities Software Company and later formed his own international consulting firm which specialized in multimedia solutions and internet marketing strategies in developing countries such as India, Africa and China.

Mr. Tasker has significant experience in North American markets and extensive exposure and success in international markets. His ability to recognize potential opportunites in developing countries and ability in adapting to cultural differences and purchasing practices in foreign countries compliments the current international marketing initiatives.

In 2009 he joined the WebTrain team, and is proud to bring his extensive global marketing experience to bear on a product that he feels truly brings unlimited benefit to WebTrain customers and partners.

Secure Web Conferencing

Hosted on the backbone.

WebTrain uses the highest quality enterprise class servers.  Our network is scalable, load balanced, completely redundant and fail-safe.  Our solution has been probed, injected, analyzed and reviewed by three separate security firms.

All WebTrain meetings use SSL transport, meaning data is securely encrypted using standard 128 bit SSL.  Therefore, all web conferencing meeting data (VoIP audio, slides, chat text, etc) is indecipherable as it hops across the Internet to and from participants, presenters and hosts.  Residual meeting data is never cached nor posted nor uploaded nor stored on any server.  On client PC's, data never touches a hard drive, nor can the data transport be captured in a readable format.  In summary, during your meeting, your presentation content, data and VoIP audio is always securely encrypted, private and confidential.

This extraordinary certified attention to detail is why our product has been chosen by governments, banks, the military, colleges, universities, business and other security conscious organizations.

Dependable Enterprise Class Web Conferencing

WebTrain's premium service provides unsurpassed reliability.

The WebTrain hardware is located at one of Canada's largest co-location facilities.

24x7 security, biometric restricted access, electrical and diesel power backup, redundant fire and cooling systems, redundant fibre and upstreams provided by the co-location help ensure the WebTrain solution is available 24x7.

Our provider guarantees a maximum delivery time of 100ms in North America, and 200 ms world wide, ensuring optimal performance of our conferencing solution.

In an environment where uptime is measured in milliseconds, WebTrain has achieved 100% uptime due to professionally planned networks, self scaling hardware with built in fail-over and redundancies.  WebTrain has been available, up and running, without ANY interruption, of ANY kind, for the past four years.  This equates to 126 million seconds of continuous service without one second of outage.  The fact is, other vendors schedule HOURS of outages for maintenance.  But since our system has been designed to incorporate maintenance, our service is ALWAYS up and available, regardless of the type of maintenance we need to perform.

Our customers rely upon WebTrain to be available when they need it.  Can you imagine using a provider whose service is not available when you are about to start an important meeting or teach a class?  Of course not, that's why we take this responsibility seriously, and our history of 100% uptime demonstrates we are delivering our promise.
