The WebTrain product, feature set and web services are as good as WebEx or LiveMeeting, for considerably less cost. WebTrain also provides features that these companies do not offer.
Our product and services have high ratings for ease of use, interactivity and versatility. Our customers state our service is dependable, reliable and bug free. The WebTrain solution is a highly secure solution. Our solution has been probed, injected, analyzed and reviewed by three separate security firms. Our product, service, network and security polices have been found to be resilient and conforming to high security measures.
Our service is always available--by this we mean that over the past 4 years, our uptime has been 100%. Our system design enables us to upgrade or perform maintenance without affecting the service, whereas LiveMeeting and WebEx shut down access to their site for maintenance periods (sometimes for 8 hours or more).
All of our plans, even the lower cost seat plans, include all web conferencing features. Basically, every WebTrain package includes custom invitations, invitation management, custom enrollment, enrollment management, and PayPal integrations with bank deposit for fee-based meetings--and our VoIP Audio (the undisputed BEST in the business) is included as well. LiveMeeting and WebEx do not offer many of the features we provide, and unless you upgrade to their highest price offering, VoIP, custom invitations, recordings, scheduling and other features are not included... Even then, you will not get the versatility we provide.
A second major difference is our VoIP audio. It has time and time again proved itself to be the best offered by any provider. FAST, crystal clear audio, with no limitations as to how many people can speak at a given time. Our VoIP is more versatile than any other offering we know of, and we even provide private voice chat as well as group voice chat. Our audio never gets choppy or lags behind real-time--even when performing slide slows, remote control, using the webcam or transferring files. Live Meeting and WebEx restrict VoIP to one person; they also allow no private audio chat, and audio latency delay makes the feature unusable for conversations. Note our VoIP is included with all plans at no additional cost.
Other differences we include at no additional cost are automated syndicated marketing features (for promoting your meeting to tens of millions of people on Google, Feedburner, Syndic8, Technorati, Yahoo, Bloglines, Newsgator, Google Blog Search and Moreover and other websites and syndication services), fee based meetings (where the enrollee pays to attend), PayPal integration (which can deposit enrollment fees directly into your bank account), SMS Text reminders (as well as e-mail, Outlook and Lotus Note reminders), meeting pictures for great looking listings, lobby for pre-joining, customizable invitations and enrollments (with form-field merge options), integration with all 3rd party teleconferencing providers, free host, free web conferencing center portals with website integration, meeting branding and more. ALL of our features are included with ALL of our plans, at NO additional cost, and for a fair bit less than WebEx or LiveMeeting.
The Pay-As-You-Go web conferencing plan is pre-paid. You can make an online purchase anytime and use time as required. That's it! And since WebTrain's policy is "never, ever an extra charge", there are no additional costs. Meeting usage reports are also available to you, reporting every single minute of web conferencing time used; and, of course, all of our features are included.

A feature located under the Members Time Management menu enables you to share your pre-paid time and/or seat plans with other WebTrain account holders.
Sharing your account allows people to use their own WebTrain member logon to host and schedule meetings, with pre-paid time being consumed from your account. Pre-paid time can be shared, a custom monthly subscription can be shared, but seat plans cannot be shared. All plans log usage for usage and attendance reporting. Usage reports detail every minute of time used, whereas attendance reports detail enrollment participation in classes or meetings. In addition to sharing, you can also transfer pre-paid time to another account holder, eliminating the need to share your account.
A Webinar type meeting is a large, presentation-oriented meeting where participants are not aware of each other in the meeting room. As such, they see only the host of the meeting and the meeting presenters. Participants are restricted to watching the presentation, with the exception of a controlled group Q & A session. WebTrain can host Webinar meetings with up to 350 participants.
Named Hosts is a terminology relating to account sharing. Some vendors force you to predefine who you can share your account with and you must pay extra each month for each named host. WebTrain does NOT impose named hosts. All of our plans, including seat plans, can be shared with as many people as you like.
Please note that our seat plans are unlike the "entry level" plans offered by other providers. Our seat plans include all website features, such as scheduling, recordings, message boards, syndicated marketing features, PayPal integration (for fee based meetings) with direct bank deposit, VoIP audio, webcam and more.
