As part of our complete employee training software solution, WebTrain provides member based threaded message forums. They provide the means to distribute training material, product knowledge hint's and tips, company polices and more.
Forums can be training topic focused, or a single forum can contain multiple training topics. Each topic thread can have sub-topics, and each posting can support a separate file attachment.
Members can be limited to read only access, or they can post public or private replies; replies can also contain an optional attachment. Notifications of all posting activity can be sent automatically to the forum administrators, and multiple administrators are supported.
Attachments are automatically server side virus scanned, if a virus or script or trojan is found, the attachment is removed and notice of the infected posting is e-mailed to forum administrators.
When employees enroll in a training course, if the course has been assigned a default forum, the employee is automatically granted membership to the forum. This enables the employee to review pre-requisite training content before the training class starts.

WebTrain also provides custom evaluation forms that are presented to participants when they exit the virtual training room. You can design a form with multiple choice questions, true/false questions, open text comments and more. When participants complete the form, the trainer is automatically e-mailed the response. Evaluation forms can be reused, and you can define as many forms as you like. When hosting the employee training meeting, simply select the preferred evaluation form to be used and it will be displayed to participants when they exit the online employee training session.
